Trust me we weren't looking for a discount or a free drink, but it would have been nice to get an apology from the manager on duty.Welcome to Twin Peaks in Greenville, SC! We’re your destination for scratch-made food, sports on TVs from every angle, frosty 29° draft beer, and our fun and friendly Twin Peaks Girls. I will say that the most disturbing thing about the entire experience was that the manager was aware of the situation and didn't address it. All of that being said, our apps were fantastic! The ambiance is amazing. The counter was covered in trash, and there floors were pretty gross. So there was a paper towel roll sitting on the counter. Also, the men's room paper towel holder was empty. I Literally carried 10 empty dirty app plates to a table beside the band that was playing. We did have to clear our own appetizer plates. Doesn't take that long to make a cheese plate. Judging by the appetizer menu, I'm assuming she just forgot to ring it in. When we asked about it about 45 minutes after ordered she told us it would be right out. The bartender came over after that interaction and told us she was mad? Was she mad at us? What the what? Very strange. I just simply told her that we hadn't even been offered drinks. I told her most of our party hadn't been served at all and had been waiting for a while.
Why couldn't she have taken our drink order while we were sitting down? She said she thought we already had drinks? Not sure why she would think that since she hadn't asked anyone in our group if they wanted anything. Our server showed up at the bar to take two of our parties drink order? That was strange. So, we decided to get beverages from the bar because we weren't sure if she was going to take care of us. She was very friendly and figured out who our server was. So, after sitting for another 15 minutes I told the hostess the situation. She took an appetizer order from one person in our party, didn't ask if anyone else needed anything and never came back. Then she didn't come back until we got her attention. A server did come over a few minutes after we sat down to clean up the uncleared food dishes and glasses left over from the party before us.
Unfortunately, we didn't get served until 30 minutes later. We found a wonderful spot on the uncovered area of the restaurant. The hostess informed us that we should seat ourselves at any available seats.
